Received a service with Paul Nemec as a gift. Safe to say I’ve found my permanent barber. Paul was attentive, friendly, and focused on providing a quality service. Truly one of the best barber experiences I’ve ever had. Can’t wait for my next appointment!
I don’t always post reviews when things go well because I have high expectations that a business delivers what it offers. However in this case Jonah does such an amazing job I felt compelled. My hair is not easy to cut. It takes talent and attention to detail. Rarely does a barber get it right especially without lots of anecdotes and directions. Jonah is one of if not the best Barbers in Northern Idaho and Eastern Washington.
I've had long hair for more than four decades now, but I'd finally gotten thin enough on top that the good old pony tail just wasn't working anymore. I made the decision to get it cut short. I decided on Bulwark because of all the great reviews, and my barber was Cody Wilder. I went in with some vague ideas but no real clues as to what would work with my particular hair loss patterns. Cody took the time to closely examine my hair to see what might work best, and suggested a simple side part steering away from the dreaded comb over. I put my trust in him and was rewarded with results exceeding my expectations. And he was left with about ten inches of hair piled around the chair. I'm still adapting to my sudden lack of hair that's been there most of my life, but everywhere I go I'm complimented on the style. It's so easy to take care of... And most importantly, I really like what I see in the mirror. Thanks, Cody! You'll see me again soon, since my wife suggested regular maintenance would be key to keeping things looking their best.
I don’t leave reviews for places unless they REALLY deserve it.... My dude Paul at this place, he’s the guy. First things first, dude wears his product well, always looking sharp. Second thing is he really listens to what you’re looking for or adds just the right suggestions to make sure you leave looking great. You ever seen those videos on YouTube where guys go and get a full makeover and look super good and younger afterwords? Dude hooks it up like that. Been to a lot of barbers around town and I won’t go to another one after I sat with Paul. Trust me.
I went here today based off a recommendation from a friend. There was a great atmosphere and positive vibes, and the price isn’t bad. I recommend asking for Paul as he does a phenomenal job, really cares about cutting your hair exactly how you want it, and is just a cool guy in general. Only been there once but I’m sure everyone else is great as well. Just make sure you know what you want.
Nick did an awesome job with my cut. My hair is difficult to cut with multiple cowlicks and he was great in matching my vision for the style I wanted.
Barber Josh is quiet, precise, and done in 30 minutes as promised—exactly what I want in a barber. Also the best fade I’ve received all year with solid styling that only took him an extra 5 minutes (still looks good the next day!) 30 military discount (otherwise 35-40, which is perfectly aligned with the area for spots with a similar vibe). And yes, it’s a cool vibe, but I wish I could buy a 1 espresso shot or 3 Monster to stick around for a few minutes before/after the cut to actually enjoy the amazing space they’ve curated.
If you'd like a seamless experience along with a fantastic haircut this is the place to go! Booking online was simple and the confirmation and appointment reminders were so helpful! Paul was amazing with my teen son- he was consultative, really took the time to understand what my son wanted and educated him on the options, my son loved the atmosphere and the whole experience- and really loved end results! Definitely coming back again!
